Less Maintenance Burden for Avanti Operators

Piaggio Aero has won the approval of ENAC, the Italian Airworthiness Authority, for a new maintenance program for the radical Avanti twin-turboprop. Based on the company’s experience with 100 aircraft already in service, the new maintenance program provides simpler inspections, reduces the number of maintenance tasks, and reorganizes the text in a more user-friendly format. The new schedule is expected to eliminate many redundant inspections and tasks, and to reduce maintenance costs substantially.
