AAR to Reconfigure ATA 737s

ATA Airlines, in acquiring up to 14 Boeing 737-300/500 over the next year, has selected AAR Aircraft Services to reconfigure the aircraft. Indianapolis, Indiana-based AAR will perform maintenance and reconfiguration services to bring the aircraft up to ATA’s standards before handing them over to the airline. The first aircraft is scheduled to be received by AAR this month, with services continuing over the next six to 12 months. ATA will then be responsible for maintenance of the aircraft.
