In the latest maneuvering on the U.S. and European dispute on subsidies, both the U.S. and the European Union blocked each other’s requests to create panels to investigate the illegal subsidies each one claims the other is getting. But both sides are expected to make second requests to have the panels created after the June 23, the next time the WTO dispute body will consider the matter, according to the Associated Press. Last month the US filed a complaint with the WTO on plans in Europe for launch aid for the Airbus A350 project.
