NASA Chief at Paris

Two months after taking office, NASA Administrator Michael Griffin is slated to be at LeBourget today for opening ceremonies. While there’s rampant speculation that NASA’s aeronautics budgets will tank given the agency’s newfound focus on missions to the moon and Mars, the new administrator, himself a certified flight instructor and owner of a Grumman Tiger, says it isn’t so. “NASA is spending close to $1 billion in aeronautics,” Griffin told an audience last week. “I don’t expect that to go away.”
