MT Is Born as OHB Buys MAN
German aerospace manufacturer MAN Technologie AG (a subsidiary of MAN AG) has been acquired by Bremen-based OHB Technology AG in an expansion of its Space and Security division. MAN Technologie, based at Augsburg, is primarily a supplier to the Ariane 5 rocket program, but also builds tanks systems for the aviation market. Under OHB’s ownership the company will now be known as MT Aerospace AG. In 2004 it had a turnover of more than $100 million.
