Nasmyth Group Connects with Connector Maker Doughty

Precision-engineering specialist Nasmyth Group has acquired Doughty Precision Engineering for $1.8 million. DPE is a $3.6 million (in turnover) company that manufactures high-quality stainless steel components used in aerospace and defense electrical connectors. DPS employs 40 people in Nottingham and its largest customer is based in the United States. Nasmyth plans major investment in DPS — acquiring new equipment and constructing new premises to more than double its capacity in the next few months.
