Secondhand HAT

Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT) is expanding its marketplace for pre-owned Honeywell aircraft components by adding mechanical systems, and it plans to add wheels and brakes in the future. The activity already markets pre-owned Honeywell avionics. Tim Mahoney, vice president and general manager of Honeywell Aviation Aftermarket Services, says customers have asked for these additional items to be added. The components are inspected and repaired if necessary and sold under a Honeywell warranty. Airlines and other aircraft users provide excess inventories to Honeywell as one source of components for the service.
