Goodrich Supplies Nacelles for Brazil’s New Transport Jets

Here at the show, Goodrich is announcing recent delivery of the first production nacelle systems for the GE CF-34-10 turbofans powering Embraer’s new model 190/195 70- to 110-passenger transport aircraft. Some 170 firm orders and 250 options have already been received by Embraer for these new jet transports, due to enter initial service with launch customer jetBlue this fall. During its overall life, the program is expected to generate about $1.4 billion in original equipment and after-sales business for Goodrich. The company is due to deliver 44 nacelle units this year, and over 100 between 2006 and 2007.
