Lord Corp. Brings Widgets and Wizards

North Carolina-based Lord Corp., maker of systems that manage mechanical motion and control noise and vibration, comes to Paris (Hall 4, Stand A15-B) with a heaping helping of technological wonders and the experts who can tell you how they can smooth your cruise. In terms of widgets, the company is displaying components such as elastomeric mounts, bearings, dampers and rod-ends that serve crucial functions in aircraft ranging from the Falcon 7X to the EC-725 and EH101. Key technologies include active vibration control for the EC225/725, the Hindustan Aeronautics 12-passenger DHRUV aircraft and the Bell/Agusta 609 tiltrotor, as well as the inflight propeller balancing system for the U.S. Air Force C-130E and the fully integrated engine mount system for the Dassault Falcon 7X.

Experts are available to discuss those technologies as well as specialty prognostics and health-monitoring systems, inflight rotor balancing, dampers, motion accommodation devices, complete engine attachment systems and helicopter rotor head assembly subcontracting.
