A German Federal Border Police (BGS) Eurocopter EC 155 B is on display at Eurocopter’s Le Bourget static display area here at the show. The aircraft was the 15th and last helicopter delivered to the BGS.
The helicopter displayed is also part of a fleet modernization program with 12 other EC 155 Bs that were ordered in 1997.
The BGS was the launch customer for that type of Eurocopter. The border police force has a fleet of 102 helicopters, 92 of which are Eurocopters.
