Modifications, reports that sales of the new PT6A-135A for 2005 will equal 50
(equivalent to 25 upgraded aircraft), setting a new record for the six-year-old
company and increasing its grand total of 64 airplanes/128 engines, worth $38
million. "Based on the continuing strong demand for the Blackhawk upgrade, we
have ordered an unprecedented 60 engines for 2006," he added. The Waco-based
company has also acquired an STC to install PT6A-21 and -28 engines on King
Airs of the early 90 series (90/A90/B90 and some C90s) that are now equipped
with -20/20A engines. Those motors are made available when the company installs
PT6A-135s in later machines of the C90/A/B and E90 ranges as part of its
