P&WC Boosts U.S. Rapid Response

Pratt & Whitney Canada will add five Mobile Repair Teams to ensure field maintenance support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, regardless of an operator's location, throughout the U.S. Each MRT, composed of two repair specialists, is trained and fully equipped to perform on-site maintenance services for the PW300, PW500, JT15D and PT6 engine series, including Hot Section Inspection for the company's PW500, JT15D and PT6 engine families. "With this expanded network, our engine customers will be assured of even faster response times to their maintenance needs," says Beno"t Brossoit, vp, Service Centres, P&WC. "We will now be in a better position than ever to dispatch an MRT within hours of a call to undertake required maintenance. Our goal is to ensure operators can return their aircraft into service with minimal disruption."
