Corporate Angel Network (CAN), the national public charity
that flies cancer patients to and from their treatments using empty seats on
corporate and fractional aircraft, has now flown its 20,000th patient since the
initiative was launched 24 years ago. In October alone, CAN reached a new level
of operations when it undertook 253 patient flights, beating its previous
record of 244 set in 2004.
