Wheeling, Ill.'s Palwaukee Municipal Airport— just nine miles
from the sprawl of O'Hare International— is planning a major redevelopment to
maintain its position as Chicago's most important business aviation field. A
request for proposals has been issued for the development of 8.3 acres into a
new airport business center. In a separate move, the Palwaukee Service Center
has joined forces with Lufthansa Technik's BizJet International to offer an
expanded range of services to its customers.
