TAG Names Farnborough Hotel Operator

Dakota Hotels of the UK has been chosen as TAG Aviation's on-site hotel at Farnborough Airport. The hotel, expected to open in 18 to 24 months, will have about 200 rooms, many of which will be dedicated for use by the aircrew students attending FlightSafety International's nearby training center, complemented by more luxurious four/five-star rooms available to the general public.

According to Rudy Toering, manager of FSI's Farnborough center, the student rooms will be "good quality, comfortable enough to allow students to study," and priced around $105 to $125 per night.

The hotel, which is being designed by London architects Hamilton Associates, will be very modern in concept, in line with the rest of TAG Farnborough's space-age look.
