An enhanced Learjet 60 "Special Edition" was unveiled here by Bombardier as the latest business jet to be "refreshed" with a package of former options as standard equipment.
The "Special Edition" will now become the production standard for that aircraft with more than $1 million worth of former options.
As an extra incentive to buy that model, all those purchased before the end of this year will include a comprehensive maintenance, warranty and training package.
The first Special Edition was delivered last week as the 275th Learjet 60 off the line. It is now being operated by Unicorp National Development of Orlando, Fla.
Standard equipment now includes interior appointments such as plated trim, wood, veneer and premium carpeting. Entertainment components include a 15.1-inch forward video monitor, a 10-disc CD player and a DVD video system. It also features avionics and other equipment such as an enhanced ground proximity warning system, a traffic collision avoidance system and an auxiliary power unit.
