Million Air (Booth 8405) is promoting new FBO locations at Vancouver International in British Columbia, where its brand has been assumed by Penta Aviation; and at San Juan, Puerto Rico, where it's building a new terminal to be completed early in 2005.
Included at Million Air Vancouver is the former Vancouver Jet Centre, purchased early this year, and a total of some 280,000 square feet of hangar and office space. The hangar can accommodate top-of-the-line Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft, and the ramp can accommodate Airbus ACJs and Boeing Business Jets.
Around-the-clock maintenance is provided by Penta Aviation Services, an authorized Bombardier, Raytheon and Honeywell service center.
Million Air San Juan, which will open in January or February, will be the 31st in the franchise chain. It will augment the Million Air location at Nassau International Airport in the Bahamas that's been operational since 1997.
Million Air is promoting new wireless Internet access throughout its locations, and is planning a new service for travelers to such special events as the Super Bowl, the baseball All-Star Game, and major golf tournaments.
Houston-headquartered Million Air Interlink continues to work toward a doubling in size to approximately 60 FBO locations in coming years. The parent organization collects a one-time fee of $45,000 from FBOs wishing to don the Million Air mantle. They also agree to invest at least $10,000 in market introduction promotion, and to pay modest monthly royalty and advertising fees.
