Emteq Sends Tubes Down The Tubes

Wisconsin-based lighting specialist Emteq has introduced an LED light that directly replaces existing fluorescent tubes. With multiple LEDs, the tube uses less power than fluorescents, is fully dimmable, lasts longer than a standard tube and is much more robust. Emteq has applied for patent protection on the new product, which will bring the benefits of LED lighting to existing airplane interiors. Emteq lighting systems are installed on multiple aircraft types, including the Boeing BBJ, Bombardier Challenger 300 and Global Express. The company claims to be a leader in the application of true-white LED technology.
