Extended Maintenance for ERJ 145

Embraer ERJ 145 and Legacy operators will fly longer between overhauls thanks to a new maintenance plan just approved by the FAA, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Brazilian authorities. The change extends the interval between C-checks from 4,000 to 5,000 hours. It is one of a series of maintenance actions, including flight data recorder improvements and new corrosion standards, which have reduced maintenance workload by 13% since the type entered service.
