Chateauroux, France-based electronics specialist PGA Avionics (Booth 5310) just completed integration of its Paradize II advanced cabin management system on a VIP Airbus A330, and is here at NBAA touting a new, scaled-down version called Paradize II Lite for small and medium-size business jets.
Paradize II links together all of an airplane's inflight entertainment and cabin lighting components, including audio-visual systems, DVD, CD and video players, external video cameras, live TV and flight-following systems, high-definition monitors, crew/passenger touch-screen controls, and mood and individual reading lights.
"Paradize II introduces a new level of cabin system integration, which meets customers' increasingly complex demands for the configuration of inflight entertainment systems and aircraft lighting on VIP aircraft and business jets," said Jean-Francois Piaulet, PGA's president and CEO.
In addition to the A330, which is due for delivery later this year, PGA is also installing Paradize II in a VIP A340 and two Airbus Corporate Jetliners.
