KrasAir Launch Customer for An-148
On Tuesday Boris Abramovitch, general director of Russian airline KrasAir, signed an MoU with Ilyushin Finance Co.'s general director Aleksandr Rubtsov to deliver 12 Antonov An-148 regional jets. "Up to September 2004 we are going to sign firm orders, so KrasAir will be the launch customer for An-148s," said Aleksandr Rubtsov. The first serial An-148s will be produced at the Voronezh-based VASO plant in 2005.
