U.S. Pavilion Ushers in New Business Opportunities

The ribbon of the U.S. Pavilion was cut on Monday morning with the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce, the head of the U.S. Embassy of London and president of Kallman Worldwide in attendance to usher in a new era of business for the U.S. aerospace industry. The new U.S. Pavilion represents 160 aerospace companies, setting a record for U.S. attendance at Farnborough. The intention of the pavilion is to offer an opportunity for smaller companies that otherwise may not have the chance to get involved in the international market. Kallman Worldwide, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Department of Defense, as well as the U.S. Embassy, London, are sponsoring the pavilion. The U.S. Shared Chalet on Row C is also part of Kallman's involvement at Farnborough, and is being used by companies exhibiting in the pavilion as a meeting place for smaller U.S. companies to entertain their customers with conference rooms, offices and a five-star dining area. Kallman has been involved with Farnborough since 1996, primarily running the "Shared Chalet," but has now expanded its services by offering the U.S. Pavilion as well.
