ILA 2004 an Outstanding Success, Organizers Say

Four trade days at the 2004 Berlin Air Show held in May at Schoenefeld Airport netted more than 3.7 billion Euros in B2B sales, ILA event organizers report. More than 105,000 trade visitors attended the event and almost 94,000 folks came to the public days. More than 900 exhibitors from 43 countries attended ILA 2004 and some 331 aircraft were on display. Industry observers told ShowNews that the continuing success of ILA, among other international trade shows, are creating tough competition for the SBAC, which is struggling to make the Farnborough air show viable in the future.
