Safe Flight Autothrottles Certified Aboard G200
Gulfstream (Chalet K13-14) announced that it has earned FAA certification of a Safe Flight Instrument Enhanced Autopower autothrottle system (ATS) as an option aboard its super midsize G200 business jet. Operators are sure to appreciate the option as thrust adjustments to the aircraft's PW306A engines are not easy to make at the low power settings associated with landing approaches. The Safe Flight ATS also will reduce workload during cruise.
