Lufthansa CityLine Taps Honeywell for APU Overhauls
Honeywell (Hall 1, Stand A8) will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the RE-220 APUs installed aboard German carrier's fleet of 20 Bombardier CRJ700 regional jets. The RE220 is certified for in-flight operations up to 41,000 feet. Passengers and airport neighbors praise the RE-200 for its low operating noise. The agreement assures folks that low noise won't become no noise resulting from premature APU failures.
