China Southern Takes First Two ERJ145s
Two Embraer ERJ145s received by China Southern are the first built by the Harbin Embraer Aircraft Industry, a joint venture formed by Brazilian Embraer Aircraft Industry (Chalet C33-36), China's Harbin Aviation Industry and Hafei Aviation Industry. Sichuan Airlines, partially controlled by China Southern Airlines, has already been operating ERJ145s since 2000 on domestic routes. China Southern also plans to expand its domestic services through the use of ERJ145.
