Symetrics Industries LLC (Hall 2, Stand A10) has announced the award of a $1.7 million plus contract from Aerosystems International Ltd to manufacture and deliver its next-generation IDM-501 improved data modem, for integration into the AH.Mk1 mission planning system (MPS) that supports the UK Army Air Corps' WAH-64 Apache helicopter fleet. The IDM-501 offers significant reductions in size, weight, power and price over previous versions, making it ideal for helicopter, UAV and ruggedized military planning applications.
