CAE Providing A380 Simulator to Qantas
CAE will provide a next-generation full-flight simulator to Qantas for training crews to fly the Airbus A380 mega transport. The new Sim XXI technology represents the latest advances in simulators. The modular system is also intended to reduce lifecycle costs, and the design makes assembly, test and integration much easier than before. The contract is valued at $25 million and the simulator will be delivered in summer 2006.
