Don't Mention the War

Germany's Ferchau Engineering GmbH's Aviation division is making its first appearance at a Farnborough air show this year, which probably shouldn't come as much a surprise since the company was only formally founded in January. The group is a service provider for Airbus, certifying the supplier network for various projects. The company has about 220 employees and hopes to grow to 300 by 2008. The company hopes to establish operating locations in France, England and Spain by next year, to support Airbus. The unit is showing off its prowess in Hall 4 at Stand G4a, that's in the little Germany section of the Hall.
