EADS Delivers to Lithuania

EADS Defence and Communications Systems has delivered the first of three surveillance and target acquisition radar systems to the Lithuanian air force. The TRML-3D radar is the first NATO-compatible radar to be delivered to Lithuania, as part of the country's efforts to modernize its air defense and control system. Deliveries will be completed in August. The TRML-3D is a self-contained, mobile 3D radar with an integrated secondary system, mounted in a single vehicle. It features phased-array technology and has a maximum range of 120 miles, combined with the ability to detect small, low-flying targets such as missiles and helicopters.
