EADS Sogerma Services and Simula Inc (Hall 3, Stand C17a) have joined forces to create a new partnership for the development of aircraft armor protection and crew seats. The two companies intend to deliver kits for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Their first military program bid will be for the Airbus A400M tactical transport—Sogerma and Simula are offering armor kits for the aircraft's cockpit seats, floor and skin areas, plus protection for the loadmaster's seat and station.
