ATP Reborn (Again) as First Freighter Rolls Out
A new chapter is being written in the short, and bitter-sweet, saga of the BAe ATP turboprop—the regional airliner that nobody wanted. It has been transformed into a dedicated freighter under a modification program handled by Romania's Romaero (Hall 4, Stand D11) and BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. The first freighter conversion was rolled out on June 23 and will be delivered to West Air Sweden. West Air has four ATP Freighters on order.
