Russia Armament Deliveries in 2003

According to data submitted by Russian officials to the United Nations Department for Disarmament Affairs, in 2003 Russia delivered 45 combat aircraft and 27 attack helicopters. In comparison to 2002 sales, the number of delivered fighters decreased from 67 aircraft, while the attack helicopter market surged from just four in 2002.

Russian bestsellers still are Sukhoi Su-30 fighters and Mil Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters. The clientele remains traditional for Russian armament—African, Middle East and Far East countries lead the way.
