Farnborough To Launch "Show Within A Show" for Business Jets
Next year's Farnborough Air Show will include a dedicated business
aircraft exhibit park, the Society of British Aerospace companies
announced on Tuesday. The park will be open for three days -the
same time period as the NBAA or EBACE business aircraft shows
and will be operated in conjunction with Farnborough airport
operator TAG Aviation. It will have its own dedicated entrance
and local parking, exhibitor chalets adjacent to aircraft parking,
and a shuttle service to the main exhibition. Farnborough International
is not trying to compete with dedicated business aircraft shows,
the SBAC says, but is trying to offer an environment that is more
appealing to a growing industry sector.
