Charlotte, North Carolina-based Goodrich Corporation has been
awarded a $4.4 million contract to support the external lift winches
it supplies for the U.S. Army's UH-1 Huey and UH-60 Black Hawk
helicopters. Goodrich also will supply winches for Boeing's next
60 C-17 Globemaster III transports and 40 Lockheed-Martin C-130J
Hercules aircraft. Eurocopter recently tapped Goodrich to provide
the first dual hoist installation for its Jigsaw program.
