Breeze-Eastern Hooks for Chinooks

New Jersey's Breeze-Eastern, a unit of TransTechnology, has a $1.87 million contract to supply C-160 cargo hooks for Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopters. The contract award covers an 18-month base period and two one-year options, which could bring total revenues to about $5.4 million. Breeze has supported the U.S. Army's "premier heavy-lift helicopter" for more than 20 years, said company president Bob White. His firm employs some 180 staff and has annual sales of about $55 million.
