Egypt Air selected the Rolls-Royce Trent 700 to power its flagship
fleet of seven Airbus A330-200s. The $150 million contract calls
for deliveries to begin in June 2004. This latest deal strengthens
the Trent family's position in the region, where it powers 80%
of the A330s operating there. Worldwide, 26 carriers fly Trent
700-powered A330s.
