Snecma Services and Kuwait Airways have signed a three-year renewal
of their time and material contract covering the support of CFM56-5C
engines for Kuwait's long-range Airbus A340 airliners. Snecma
has handled 50 engines and 30 major modules for Kuwait in the
past six years. Snecma Services maintains three sites in France
and one in Belgium and has established repair sites in cooperation
with Royal Air Maroc and China Southwest Airlines.
