Smiths Aerospace and Israel's RADA have formed a teaming arrangement
to work on data management equipment and ground-based training
systems. The two companies have had a long-standing cooperative
relationship through the Peace Marble V program that provides
Israel with F-16Is. Their work involves a jointly developed digital
acquisition system, advanced data transfer equipment and digital
video recording unit, and ground debrief system. The new arrangement
provides for joint development, production and marketing of equipment.
The units involved are Smiths Aerospace in Michigan and Maryland
and RADA's Netanya and Beit She'an operations.
