Boeing Training Subsidiaries Combine Forces

Jeppesen, a leader in classroom and computer based training systems, and Alteon (née FlightSafety Boeing), a major force in simulator-based training, are teaming up to provide a wide array of integrated training services for airliner operators, according to Ray Marzullo, VP Boeing Flight Services. Jeppesen, also well known for its paper and electronic navigation publications and computer flight planning services, offers basic and advanced human factors, international flight planning and airspace, among other training courses for pilots, dispatchers and operations managers. Alteon offers complete initial and recurrent training for pilots, mechanics and flight attendants in 100+ seat commercial airliners. The unit has 70 Level D full-flight simulators at locations around the world.
