Frontier Airlines Expands Training Under Airbus and CAE

Signed in July last year, the co-operation agreement between Airbus and training services provider CAE has borne further fruit with the signing of a letter of intent by Frontier Airlines to undertake additional training at Denver, Colorado, one of the ten sites around the world at which Airbus-CAE operates 23 full-flight simulators. Frontier has been with CAE since September 2001 and has already co-located its company-staffed ground school for its A319 fleet at Denver. That five-year, $15 million contract has been broadened by the latest two-year amendment, under which CAE will supply services equivalent to 12 full-time instructors.
