ARINC Expands Business Aviation Support; Scottsdale Center First of Many

In line with its strategy of becoming a major provider of services to business aviation, ARINC Direct has opened its first regional service center in a joint venture with Scottsdale Air Center in Arizona. This, the first of several to be opened throughout the country, is a satellite of the company's major service installation, which opened at Colorado Springs earlier this year. "Our plan is to make ARINC Direct the most convenient provider of aircraft services -- whether the work is performed at the customer's site or our own," says Dave Poltorak, vp of business aviation services. ARINC's strategic entry into the field of commercial and corporate avionics maintenance is spearheaded by Thomas Robeson, the company's director of aircraft services.
