Ease and Elegance in New Citation X Interior

Cessna's Citation X will have an all-new interior beginning in 2004. Its interior has been upgraded to provide "increased passenger comfort, style and maintainability," says Cessna.

A particular upgrade of note is four additional inches of hip space in each passenger seat, developed and certified by Cessna's computer-simulated design method.

Throughout the interior, contemporary furniture features pin-in/pin-out attachment hardware that improves maintenance fit and finish. In addition, lighting, cabin temperature, window shades and audio/video equipment will be operated by the latest LED technology, which produces less heat and is more reliable than traditional cabin lighting, says Cessna.

On the flight deck, all-new crew seats from Goodrich Aerospace will be standard. The seats articulate in several positions for maximum comfort on any length of flight.

New options on the 2004 Citation X include the Max-Viz Enhanced Vision System (EVS) and Aircell satellite telephones.

The upgrades will be incorporated at s/n 225. Cessna anticipates certification and first customer deliveries in 2004. Currently, 216 Citation Xs are in service, with over 424,000 fleet hours.
