CAE SimuFlite Announcements

CAE SimuFlite, the Texas-based business aviation pilot and maintenance training center (Booth 2339), has made several announcements at this year's NBAA Convention. Among them are the following:

It will add a Citation X Level D-certified full-flight simulator to its facility in Dallas. The device will be ready for training in fall 2004, and will be the first Citation X simulator installed in CAE's global network of training centers.

It is bringing its CAE Simfinity simulation-based ground school training to the Gulfstream IV and V. A CAE Simfinity virtual simulator and integrated procedures trainer for the GIV will be installed by January 2004, and for the GV in March 2004. In addition, the company is offering personal interactive training over the Internet for BBJ pilots, expanding its existing BBJ pilot training courses.

It has joined with Airbus to offer Airbus Corporate Jetliner customers enhanced training courses beginning in January 2004. These will be the first Airbus ACJ available in North America. ACJ operators will now have access to training at 10 sites worldwide, including four in the Americas-Denver, Miami, São Paulo and Toronto.
