Flight Department Training Will Benefit From Jeppesen's New CD-ROM Course

Release of FliteCrew DLS version 2.0 has been hailed by Jeppesen as an innovative means of providing distance learning to flight departments seeking cost-effective and comprehensive solutions. Priced on a pilot-per-year basis, FliteCrew DLS features interactive courseware that allows pilots to study at their own computer at their own pace. The web-based Learning Management System lets aircrew record their test results at any computer with Internet access and provides their company's training manager with a central location for the pilots' training records. The eight-module, FAR 135-compliant course is updated annually and comprises sections on weather, performance, charts & navigation, airport operations, regulations, AIM procedures, human factors and in-flight medical training.
