Aircraft Management Solutions (Booth 4469) is now offering
enhanced hull and liability insurance at "reasonable rates"
for single-pilot Cessna 501SPs, 551SPs and CitationJet operators
through its Pro-SP program. The offering comes in response to
what Ernie Sturm, president of Aircraft Management Solutions,
says is the increasing difficulty that single-pilot operators
have been experiencing since the late 1990s in obtaining anything
more than minimal liability coverage at very high premiums.
Qualified candidates must be vetted by the United States Aircraft Insurance
Group (USAIG); must have "real world" operational training
and ongoing mentoring programs; and must operate their aircraft
in compliance with an approved Flight Operations Manual.
