Raytheon Aircraft has hired its first dedicated Customer Service
representative for China to support the 14 aircraft already in
country and the 25 Premier I and Hawker Horizon business jets
ordered by Chinese customers. Representative Haiming Shen is based
in Beijing. He formerly worked at Shanghai Airlines in increasingly
responsible positions, most recently as manager of the company's
Quality and Safety Division. He started with Shanghai Airlines
in 1986 as a technician in the maintenance department. Shen holds
an MBA degree from Donghua University, Shanghai, and a Bachelor
of Science degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University. The first
of 13 Beechcraft Premier light jet aircraft ordered by Chinese
customers will be delivered later this year, according to Raytheon
Aircraft. Customers in China have also ordered 11 Hawker Horizon
super-midsize business aircraft, the company said.
The orders build on a solid success with the Hawker 800XP in China,
and will give Raytheon the largest in-country fleet of any bizjet
manufacturer.
The current fleet consists of:
Six Hawker 800XPs with Deerjet Company of HNA Group;
One Hawker 800XP with Shanghai Airlines;
Four King Airs with the Beijing Flight Inspection Center;
