ShareJet, a joint venture between ACI Pacific and Nissho Iwai,
has launched a charter service in the Pacific Rim region using
an N-registered Boeing Business Jet aircraft. ShareJet will operate
on-demand charters, as well as committed block hours, for long-range
travel in the region for corporations and private individuals.
"We are very excited to bring this airplane to Asia, the
first BBJ available for charter in the region," said Terry
Habeck, ACI president and CEO.
ShareJet will operate the Guam-based BBJ under an FAA Part 135
certificate enabling worldwide operation. The 18-seat BBJ features
a lounge, conference/dining room, private office, guest bathroom
and shower, and a private stateroom with bathroom and shower.
This particular BBJ is designed for an 11-hour range, sufficient
for nonstop Hong Kong to Los Angeles. ShareJet also operates a
Gulfstream IV-SP.
In addition to its headquarters in Guam, ShareJet has offices
in Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Macau,
Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei, Tokyo, New York, and Newport
Beach, Calif.
