Flexjet Offers Delta More Flex

Delta AirElite Business Jets, the business jet division of Delta Air Lines, is now offering customers additional flexibility and cost savings when buying block hours of flight time on Bombardier Learjet 31As, 45s, 60s and Challenger 604s.

Under the Fleet Membership Select program, launched on Monday, members can buy flight time in 25-hour blocks and can select from various size aircraft from the Flexjet fleet, but with no lease or long-term contract and no expiration date on the hours. Customers in the hybrid offering also gain the advantage of Delta's SkyMiles program at the Medallion level. Along with membership programs, Delta provides global charter services and aircraft management expertise.

For the Learjet 31A, which will eventually be replaced by Flexjet's Learjet 40 deliveries, 25 hours costs $107,900 ($4,316/hr). The Learjet 45 is priced at $139,900; the Learjet 60 at $154,900, and the Challenger 604 at $264,900.
