'Vector' Block Charter Program from Citation Shares

On Tuesday, three-year old Citation Shares, a joint venture of Cessna Aircraft and TAG Aviation, officially launched "Vector," a block charter program aimed at attracting concept market customers who want the advantages of fractional ownership, but no equity commitment. Vector, as well as other "Jet Card" block charter programs, is targeted at low-utilization customers. It will offer charter customers prepaid 25-hour blocks of travel in CJ1, Citation Bravo and XLS aircraft at guaranteed fixed costs lower than those of competitors, such as NetJet's Marquis program, claims Steve O'Neill, Citation Shares CEO.

Prices will start at $3,400 per hour for the CJ1, $4,000 for Bravo and $5,800 for XLS, newly announced successor to Citation Excel, less federal excise tax. Citation Shares is not exhibiting at NBAA, but Cessna is located at Booth 5377 and TAG is at Booth 3653.
